Cornell CL6 is offered with a focus on the development of web business applications. It provides students with a rounded set of courses including project management, system analysis and design, web applications, database server administration and implementation. The program Emphasis is placed on practical and theory knowledge. The course has been strongly influenced by the latest technology used in industry.

Overview

The CL6 National diploma equips graduates with the required technical skills and knowledge to develop business applications. The focus is on web applications development using languages such as VB.NET and ASP.NET. Students will gain all the needed skills to play a part in the development of business applications such as advanced programming, database administration and implementation, server administration and project management skills. This Diploma is about 50% theory and 50% "hands-on" using modern industry standard computing software to prepare students for roles in the computing industry.

The graduate will be able to:

• Liaise among stakeholders to elicit and communication requirements for web business applications
• Translate those requirements into functional and system specifications
